Two best friends from Summerlin, Las Vegas — with a paintbrush, a vision, and a line of kids who won’t stop asking for dragons.
It started the way most good things do — no grand plan, just two friends doing something they loved. Kapri and Julia had always been the creative ones. The ones who showed up to school events with painted faces. The ones who turned birthday parties into full productions.
Then one day at a party, a little kid saw Kapri’s work and asked if she could paint her face. Then another kid asked. Then ten more. By the end of the night there was a line out the door, two very happy artists with paint-stained hands, and a business idea that wasn’t going away.
Word spread the way it does in Summerlin — one parent told another, one birthday party turned into five. They named it Hued because that’s what they do: take a plain face and turn it into something bold, colorful, and completely alive.

Kapri is the one who can turn a blank face into a full fantasy world in under four minutes. Her designs are detailed, expressive, and built to stop people mid-conversation. When she’s not painting faces she’s in the pool, on the dance floor, in a sketchbook, or dreaming up her next business idea — because Kapri isn’t just an artist, she’s an entrepreneur in the making. Hued is her first chapter.

Julia is the energy. She makes a shy kid laugh before she even picks up a brush, and somehow always knows exactly what design is going to make that specific kid’s whole day. A reader, a thinker, and a future interior designer who already understands that great design makes people feel something — she brings that same instinct to every face she paints.
Together — they’ve been best friends long enough to finish each other’s sentences, read the room at any party, and keep the line moving without ever losing the fun. When you book Hued you’re not getting a vendor. You’re getting two genuine artists who actually care that your event is the best one yet.
